Turkey's Home Furniture Exports Exceed $1 Billion in 3 Months
Turkey's exports of home furniture exceeded $1 billion in the first three months of this year. According to data from the Istanbul Federation of Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters, home furniture exports since the beginning of this year have reached $1.1 billion, up 27.5% from the same period last year.
According to the data, the United States, Germany, Iraq, France and Libya were the top importers of Turkish furniture during this period.
It is worth noting that Turkey's furniture sector aims to achieve $6 billion in exports by the end of 2022.
Turkey is one of the most important producers of furniture, with several states at the top of domestic and international production of home furnishings, the most important of which are Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Kayseri and Izmir.
